I was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., till the age of 12, until my family moved to Wisconsin. I then started wrenching on cars and race cars when I turned 16 and received my drivers license. After that, I started out street racing on "The Wash" in Madison in the late 80s and some bracket racing at Union Grove. And then started Ice Racing in Montello with a 78 AMC Hornet and took the WIRA Rookie of the Year and the Championship with it in 1993. I then ran a Hobby Stock at Jefferson and Columbus 151 Speedway in the mid- 90s with a 77 Ford Thunderbird. Which won numerous heat races and semi-features. Afterwards I started my own business called RMH Racing. Which initially started with building customized race cars, which has now evolved into computer controlled engine management.
